Talent acquisition is an industry that often gets stuck in its ways, relying on the same job boards and programmatic platforms while struggling to truly reach or engage the job seekers we’re all competing for. Our team has seen that reality up close for a long time.
We’ve also seen social media change everything. Scrolling and swiping has become an enormous part of everyone’s lives, in case you haven’t checked your screen time lately (no shame, we’re right there with you). Our counterparts in consumer and B2B marketing recognized the tantalizing opportunity that shift in attention represented.
Collaborating with social media influencers and creators has quickly become the CMO’s #1 tactic for reaching and converting new, highly engaged, highly tailored audiences. That sparked a simple question for us: if creators are so effective at influencing buying decisions, why wouldn’t they be just as powerful in influencing career decisions? And if that’s true, could we make it easy and cost-effective for employers to tap into that influence, while empowering trusted creators to help their followers find meaningful opportunities?
Flockity is new. There’s no precedent to what we’re bringing to the industry. But so far? The answers have been a resounding yes.
