The Audience You Didn't Know You Were Missing

Recruitment marketing has become very good at finding people who are already looking for a job. But what about everyone else? The people who aren't searching, aren't visiting job boards, and may not even know your company has an opportunity worth considering? They're not necessarily unreachable. They're simply somewhere else.

Consumer brands have understood this for years. They don't wait for someone to start shopping before introducing themselves. They build awareness, create interest, and put their products in front of people as they go about their everyday lives. Recruitment marketing has an opportunity to do the same.

Today, billions of people spend time on social platforms, discovering new brands, ideas, products, and possibilities through content served by algorithms. Yet many employers continue to concentrate the majority of their recruitment investment on audiences who are already actively searching. That's a pretty significant blind spot.

This is where Job Discovery changes the conversation. Instead of waiting for talent to find an opportunity, employers can put those opportunities in front of people who might never have encountered them otherwise. Through creators, authentic content, and algorithm-driven distribution, job discovery becomes part of the everyday digital experience.

And there's a new measurement opportunity here, too. It's not just about how many clicks a campaign generates. It's about how many new people it reaches, how many visit a career site for the first time, and how many move from discovery to consideration. Incremental reach matters. New audiences matter. And the ability to measure that impact matters.

Because the next great hire might not be looking for a job today. But that doesn't mean they aren't interested in what comes next.

You can't convert an audience you never reach.
